Extracurriculars

CIS offers an array of extracurricular activities for students to join. Lower school students can participate in clubs and groups such as cheerleading, chess, and honor choir. Offerings for middle and upper school students range from athletics to Science Olympiad to performing arts and more. These activities are designed to develop well-rounded students, foster leadership skills, and create a healthy, balanced lifestyle of academic work and play.

Lower School Extracurriculars

In the lower school, before and after school clubs are offered on a rotating basis. This allows students to participate in clubs that not only fit their current interests, but also allow them to try something they may not have considered before. Examples of recent before school offerings include orchestra, good sports club, knitting, mathematical minds, yoga, chess, and baton twirling. After school offerings include running club, volleyball, golf, and honor choir.
