Parent Involvement
The best way to contribute as a parent is to be actively involved in the Parent Association. Being involved gives you a personal connection to the entire CIS family. The purpose of the CIS Parent Association is to advance the stated Mission and Statement of Philosophy of CIS by fostering an inclusive community for parents working together in support of the school and its students. All parents of CIS students are members of the CIS Parent Association. There are no separate membership dues.
To become an active member, all you have to do is volunteer your time. Volunteering is a wonderful way for our parent body to build close relationships with their child's teachers, school administrators and other parents by actively participating in school activities.
We encourage all parents to become actively involved in one or more CIS Parent Association committee activities this school year. Day, evening and weekend opportunities are offered so that everyone can participate. All of us are aware that it is the willingness and generosity of parent volunteers that make CIS a better place for children and families.
