The Process
When you click on the link, you will be taken to the flickr site. On that page you will see a link that asks if you want to join this group. Click on that. If you already have a flickr account, you will be able to continue. If not, you’ll have to do that first. Then, it will ask you to provide a screen name that you will use when you log in to the CIS flickr page. Choose any reasonable name you like. You will then be directed to send a flickr mail message to the group. In the comments section, be sure and provide us with your REAL name so we know whether or not to let you in. (Sometimes the screen name doesn’t give us enough clues to determine your true identity – and we need that.) Send us the message, we’ll authorize you and you will be a member, able to share photos and comments about Fun school activities or great achievements.
Remember, when you use flickr, be gentle. Always use common sense and good taste when sharing photos or commenting on them. And never upload a picture of someone who would prefer not to be “uploaded”.
