Media Center: About

Collection

The CIS Media Center offers more than 16,000 books, videos, CDs, and cassettes for all ages. Magazines, newspapers, and reference sources are available in both print and digital formats. In addition to its print holdings, the school has access to a wealth of digital content via electronic databases hosted by the Missouri Research and Education Network (MOREnet).

Check-Out Policy

Lower School students make weekly visits to the Media Center. Students in kindergarten may check out two books during each visit, while those in first through fifth grades may check out three books. Additional books may be checked out for class projects or if the student returns books between class visits. Junior kindergarten students are welcome to check out books with their parents.

Middle and Upper School students frequent the Media Center on an as-needed basis and may check out as many materials as required and desired. Parents may also check out from the Media Center using a guest account.
