| 3rd Grade Science | |
| This fall we will be starting with the Plant Growth & Development unit where we will be observing the changes in Wisconsin Fast Plants over six weeks. We will concentrate on flower parts as well as interdependent relationships between plants and bees. | |
| 4th Grade Science | |
| This fall we will be starting with the Microworlds unit using microscopes and observing Volvox, Blepharisma and vinegar eels. We will also be discussing the characteristics of magnifiers and appropriate ways to use them. | |
| 5th Grade Science | |
| This fall we will start with the Variables unit that stresses experimental design. The students will change different variables in objects such as catapults and pendulums. The terms "dependent" and "independent" variable are heavily discussed. |
